Electroluminescence (EL) Test

  • It is a diagnostic tool that is used to determine the optical and electronic properties of a module.

  • Performance-limiting defects such as PID degradation, microcracks, cellular fractures, and defects are typically observable through imaging.

  • Characterization of samples according to IEC 60904-13:2018

Damp Heat Test/ PID Test

  • Damp Heat Test - Determine the photovoltaic module's ability to resist the long-term effects of moisture penetration. Performed in accordance with IEC 61215-2:2021.

  • PID Test - Measure the ability of the photovoltaic module to resist degradation from the system voltage applied to the module. Performed in accordance with IEC 61215-2:2021.

Salt Mist Corrosion Test

  • Determine the resistance of different photovoltaic modules to salt spray corrosion.

  • Samples are tested in accordance with IEC 61701:2020 and IEC 60068-2-52:2018.

  • In this climatic chamber it is possible to test the salinity resistance of various materials, such as PV components and structures.

  • Note: the climate chamber is limited to modules with areas above 2.0 m²
