Standards
-
Inmetro Ordinance 004/2011
-
Inmetro Ordinance 140/2022
-
IEC 61215 Terrestrial photovoltaic (PV) modules - Design qualification and type approval
-
IEC 61730 Photovoltaic (PV) module safety qualification
Electroluminescence (EL) Test
-
It is a diagnostic tool that is used to determine the optical and electronic properties of a module.
-
Performance-limiting defects such as PID degradation, microcracks, cellular fractures, and defects are typically observable through imaging.
-
Characterization of samples according to IEC 60904-13:2018
Damp Heat Test/ PID Test
-
Damp Heat Test - Determine the photovoltaic module's ability to resist the long-term effects of moisture penetration. Performed in accordance with IEC 61215-2:2021.
-
PID Test - Measure the ability of the photovoltaic module to resist degradation from the system voltage applied to the module. Performed in accordance with IEC 61215-2:2021.
Salt Mist Corrosion Test
-
Determine the resistance of different photovoltaic modules to salt spray corrosion.
-
Samples are tested in accordance with IEC 61701:2020 and IEC 60068-2-52:2018.
-
In this climatic chamber it is possible to test the salinity resistance of various materials, such as PV components and structures.
-
Note: the climate chamber is limited to modules with areas above 2.0 m²
Maximum Power Determination Test
-
Used in the characterization of photovoltaic modules. In this test it is possible to determine the electrical characteristics of the module and trace the I-V and P-V curve.
Mechanical Load Test
-
Determine the ability of the photovoltaic module to withstand minimum static and/or dynamic load.
-
The test is carried out in accordance with IEC 61215-2:2021.
Electrical Insulation Resistance Test
-
Determine whether the photovoltaic module is sufficiently isolated between energized parts and accessible parts.
